Sitting here with my best friend

We're watching the Angels play Boston at Boston. I used to be a big Red Sox fan (along with my losing Reds), but I've tired of them the past few years. It seems they've started "buying" championships like the rotten Yankees. I do like Terry Francona, the manager, though. And there are players on the team I like. I like Mike Scioscia, the manager of the Angels. I liked him when he played for the Reds rival during the 70s, the Dodgers. He's an excellent manager. My best buddy hasn't visited in a long while. He' s a flight attendant, so it's hard for him to visit. One of my favorite vacations ever was going with him to Boston to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox play the Seattle Mariners. Nomar Garciapara was still playing for Boston at the time. The people around us were saying, "Come on Nomaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" with the classic Boston accent. So I started doing it, too. Since I had a couple of beers, it wasn't hard to do. Okay, now I switched to football. Man, I hate it when the Colts don't play until 8:30. They've had three games already in primetime!
